What is HIFU?

High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that uses focused ultrasound energy to target and stimulate the production of collagen in the skin and underlying tissues. While HIFU is primarily known for its use in skin tightening and lifting, it has also been employed for reducing submental fat, commonly known as double chin.

Here's how HIFU can help reduce double chin fat:

  1. Targeting Fat Cells: HIFU technology can penetrate the skin and target specific layers, including the subcutaneous fat layer. The focused ultrasound energy creates heat, which selectively destroys fat cells without harming the surrounding tissues.

  2. Stimulating Collagen Production: In addition to targeting fat cells, HIFU stimulates the production of collagen and elastin in the skin. This leads to improved skin elasticity and tightness, contributing to a more defined and contoured jawline.

  3. Tightening and Lifting: The heat generated by HIFU not only reduces fat but also causes immediate tissue contraction. This tightening effect helps lift sagging skin, resulting in a more sculpted appearance.

  4. Gradual Results: While some changes may be noticeable immediately due to tissue contraction, the full effects of HIFU treatment typically develop gradually over several weeks to months. This is because the body needs time to metabolize and eliminate the damaged fat cells

    HIFU 's results?

It's important to note that individual responses to HIFU treatment can vary, and multiple sessions may be required to achieve optimal results. Additionally, HIFU is generally considered a low-risk procedure with minimal downtime compared to surgical options like liposuction or neck lift surgery.

Side effects 's of HIFU?

While patients may experience temporary discomfort during the procedure, redness, bruising, and numbness are some of the side effects of the HIFU.
