Skin Resurfacing Procedures

Skin resurfacing procedures aid in revitalizing a more youthful and appealing complexion by removing the severely damaged outer layers of skin, which reveals the healthier skin beneath and encourages the development of new, healthy skin cells. These procedures include laser therapy, chemical peels, microchanneling, and facials

Laser Therapy

A cosmetic laser refers to a medical instrument that employs laser energy to address a variety of skin issues. These lasers are utilized for purposes such as hair removal, skin resurfacing, and reducing wrinkles. Ablative lasers, including the CO2 laser, focus on the upper layers of the skin, whereas non-ablative lasers, such as the Nd:YAG laser, penetrate the deeper layers without harming the surface layer. The success of cosmetic laser treatments is influenced by several factors, including the pigmentation of the skin and hair, the particular laser technology applied, and the proficiency of the operator.

Chemical Peel

A chemical peel is a treatment designed to resurface the skin by applying a chemical solution that leads to the exfoliation and eventual peeling of the upper layers. The resulting new skin is typically smoother, exhibits fewer wrinkles, and presents a more uniform tone. Chemical peels can be conducted on multiple areas, such as the face, neck, and hands.

Microchanneling

Microchanneling is a minimally invasive skin treatment that employs ultra-fine needles to generate microchannels within the skin, thereby enhancing serum absorption and promoting collagen production for rejuvenated, healthier-looking skin. These micro-injuries activate the skin’s natural healing response, stimulating the production of collagen, elastin, and other essential cellular building blocks necessary for maintaining healthy, youthful skin. In contrast to traditional microneedling, microchanneling is less aggressive, with needles entering and exiting the skin in a vertical manner, which minimizes tearing, inflammation, and recovery time.

Facial

A facial is a specialized skincare procedure aimed at cleansing, exfoliating, hydrating, and enhancing the overall health and appearance of your skin. It surpasses regular skincare routines by offering more profound cleansing, exfoliation, and hydration, frequently resulting in skin that is refreshed, radiant, and balanced.
